This export model radio features a comprehensive FM range of 88 to 108 MHz, equipped with 9 tubes and 6 loudspeakers for superior audio quality. Measuring approximately 25 by 16 by 11 inches and weighing nearly 35 lbs, it includes long wave, short wave, AM, and FM bands, showcasing excellent sensitivity across all frequencies for a robust listening experience.
The cabinet on this Opus remains in its original, unaltered condition with minor imperfections in the finish, showcasing its 60-plus years of history. It has been thoroughly cleaned and polished. The chassis has been carefully cleaned, and any components outside acceptable ranges have been replaced, including a new magic eye tuning tube for optimal performance. The original circuit has not been altered in any way. The original speaker grill cloth has been preserved and cleaned rather than replaced, maintaining the radio's authenticity.

Nothing has been done to this radio that is not described here. THIS IS NOT A FULLY RESTORED RADIO but rather an original vintage item that has been inspected and repaired as necessary to make it functional. As with all of my radios, I have played this radio for hours several days a week before I put it up for sale. I do my best to describe every item in detail. Vintage radios were manufactured decades ago in a time of relaxed electrical safety. Many early radios were made with the metal chassis electrically connected to one side of the power cord. This can give you a strong shock if you happen to touch the radio and anything else that is at grounded at the same time. In addition, tubes can get very hot and cause serious burns if touched accidently after the radio has been running for a while. The danger is minimal if the complete cabinet, back, and knobs are in place and no metal parts are exposed. Vintage Radio Electronics, whether restored or un-restored, are by nature hazardous due to their voltage, design, heat output and age. They should not be operated unattended or for great lengths at a time. Any operation, repairs or other adjustments are done at your own risk. None of the radios sold at this shop have been modified to modern standards.
