This is a nice fully functional Blaubunkt model number 21053 table top tube radio. The radio was made by Blaupunkt in Germany for the US market.  It will work with various voltages but it is currently set to work in the USA and it works well! After a few minutes of “warming up” this radio will pull in stations on all bands.  This radio was considered a “second” radio for the kitchen or child's room as it is a nice compact design measuring only 12" long, 7.5" deep and 8" tall.
 
On the back of the radio are connections for external FM and AM antennas, an external speaker, and a phonograph turntable. A small external FM antenna wire is included and is all that is needed to pull in many FM stations.
 
I removed the chassis from the cabinet and cleaned and dusted everything. All tubes, capacitors and resistors were checked and measured.  Any found to be defective were replaced.  All moving parts were cleaned and lubricated.  The panel light was replaced.  The case is made of Bakelite. It has been hand polished to a nice shine.  There is a deep scratch (not a crack) on the front bezel and a piece cracked off on the bottom (see photos).  This in only visible on the radio's bottom and does not impact support or functionality.
 
Nothing has been done to this radio that is not described here.  THIS IS NOT A FULLY RESTORED RADIO but rather an original vintage item that has been inspected and repaired as necessary to make it functional.  As with all of my radios, I have played this radio for hours several days a week before I put it up for sale.  I do my best to describe every item in detail.  Please look over the photos and contact me with any questions. As with any old tube radio, this should not be left unattended or played for long periods of time.
